About Powerhouse Park

Located at 324 West Washington Street. This park is located at the tail gates of the Millrace Canal. Visitors can take advantage of the walking trail, the nearby Farmers Market, and the local eateries and brewery. The park offers the Restored Powerhouse building as a reservable event location including a large patio with benches to take in the view. The park extends south along the trail to an open greenspace area which is a great location for a blanket picnic. Visitors often fish along the bank of the Millrace Canal and enjoy the accessibility to the park and trail from many entrance points. Parking is available at Shanklin Park or at City Parking areas located at the north end of the canal and on Washington Street.

    Powerhouse

    The historical Powerhouse has a capacity of 40 and is located at the tailgates of the historic Millrace Canal.
