Neighborhood Highlights

Boundaries are from Main Street to the east, College Avenue to the north, the Millrace to the west, and Goshen Dam/Ditch to the south
All the roads in this neighborhood were named by the original owners of the land, whose first names were Grace and Roy (hence the well-known street in this area called “Gra-Roy”).
The Goshen College President historically lived in a house located on the Dam Pond in this neighborhood, a tradition that ceased in the early 2000s.
When the winters are cold enough, residents take up ice skating and games of hockey on the frozen Millrace.

Meeting Process

Neighborhood association meetings are held three to four times a year, often in one of the members’ homes, and announced to the neighborhood.

Board candidates agree to be on the ballot before the summer gathering, and open nominations also happen at that gathering. A paper or email ballot of neighborhood residents determines the board.
