GOSHEN, Ind. — A packed room at Bread & Chocolate on Thursday was a clear sign that the spirit of giving runs deep in Goshen during the city’s International Women’s Day Luncheon.
This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” emphasized leadership through mentorship, generosity and shared opportunity. Mayor Gina Leichty welcomed attendees and thanked the many women strengthening Goshen’s civic and professional life.
Guest presenters included:
• Kari Tarman, director of Hesburgh Women of Impact at the University of Notre Dame • Giselle Hernandez, broker associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northern Indiana Real Estate • Megan Hessl, trust and investment administrator at Everence Financial • Tami Hicks, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County
Each speaker described mentors and experiences that shaped their leadership. They encouraged others to invest time, knowledge and opportunity in future leaders.
City officials credited the event’s record turnout to community support and collaboration with the Women in Business Network.
