GPD Neighborhood Liaisons

The Goshen Police Department assigns officers as liaisons to neighborhood associations across the city. The program gives neighbors a familiar point of contact while building stronger relationships between officers and the communities they serve.

Neighborhood liaisons connect with residents, attend neighborhood meetings and help address questions or concerns before they become larger issues. Just as importantly, the program creates opportunities for positive, ongoing interaction between officers and neighbors.

By keeping communication open, liaisons can better understand each neighborhood and work with residents to identify solutions that strengthen safety and quality of life.
