Board of Aviation
The Board of Aviation Commissioners oversees the management and development of the Goshen Municipal Airport. The board sets policy, approves budgets and contracts, and guides airport planning in coordination with City leadership.
When and where does the Board meet?
Meets the third Monday of each month at 2 p.m. inside Council Chambers, Police & Courts Building, 111 E. Jefferson St., Goshen, IN 46528.

What does the board do?
The board provides oversight for airport operations, capital improvements, and long-term planning. It works with City staff to ensure safe, efficient service for pilots, tenants, and visitors.

Firefighters’ Memorial Day in Goshen honors the courage, service and sacrifice of firefighters while bringing the community together for reflection and remembrance. The observance recognizes those who have served and those lost in the line of duty, while reaffirming the Goshen Fire Department’s commitment to public safety and service. In the past year, the department honored that legacy by renaming Fire Station 3 as the Bruce Nethercutt Memorial Fire Station in recognition of Assistant Chief Nethercutt’s lasting impact on Goshen. Details about the 2026 Firefighters’ Memorial Day observance will be updated closer to the event.
