Trash and Recycling

Keeping neighborhoods clean and safe

The City Program

The City of Goshen provides weekly curbside trash and recycling collection services within city limits to keep neighborhoods clean and safe. Residents place trash and recycling at the curb by 6 a.m. on their scheduled collection day (see interactive map below).

Borden Waste-Away, the City’s contractor, supplies carts for trash and recycling and empties them on assigned routes. Extra trash outside the cart requires an orange bag tag for pickup. Recycling is collected every other week under the same curbside guidelines.

These services are funded through a monthly utility bill, and residents are responsible for keeping carts accessible and free of obstructions. Accepted recycling items include paper, cardboard, plastics, aluminum, and glass. Yard waste is not collected, but can be disposed through seasonal programs. By following collection rules and schedules, residents help Goshen maintain a clean environment and promote long-term sustainability within the community.
