The City of Goshen will submit a Notice of Intent to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) for stormwater discharge approval. This notice meets the requirements of the Indiana Construction Stormwater General Permit for road reconstruction on 15th Street in Goshen, Indiana.
The project spans 15th Street from U.S. 33/Lincolnway East to Eisenhower Drive N in Elkhart Township, Elkhart County, Indiana.
Stormwater runoff will flow into adjacent yards; the public storm sewer, which flows to the Elkhart River; or the combined sewer, which flows to the Wastewater Treatment Plant and is then discharged to the Elkhart River.
Work will be scheduled once all necessary permits are obtained. Project updates will be available on the Engineering Department’s Ongoing Projects page on the city’s website.
