GOSHEN, Ind. — Main Street became a hands-on showcase of the vehicles and equipment that keep Goshen running during Touch-a-Truck on Saturday, Aug. 22.
Hosted by the Goshen Parks & Recreation Department, the free event lined downtown with fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment, utility vehicles and other heavy-duty machinery. Children climbed aboard, explored the equipment and talked with City staff about the work they do each day.
Touch-a-Truck showcases the people and equipment behind City services
Thank you to the Parks & Recreation Department for organizing the event and to the City departments and staff who brought their vehicles, equipment and expertise downtown. Their work keeps streets maintained, utilities operating, neighborhoods safe and essential City services moving.
