The Goshen Common Council passed Ordinance 5256, Building Code Fees, on June 22, 2026. Mayor Gina Leichty approved and adopted the ordinance on June 22, 2026.
Ordinance 5256 establishes a schedule of fees for permits, inspections, certificates and other services assessed and collected by the Goshen Building Department as authorized by the Goshen Building Code. The ordinance includes residential permits, commercial permits, electrical permits, mechanical permits, plumbing permits, other permits and fees for other services provided. All fees established under the ordinance take effect 90 days after publication of this Notice of Adoption under I.C. § 5-3-1.
Ordinance 5256 is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Goshen Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, 202 S. Fifth St., Goshen, Indiana.
