Goshen Parks and Recreation Department
Linking the Goshen community to its historical, cultural, and natural resources
Welcome to the Goshen Parks & Recreation Department
We on the park staff are excited to offer a lineup of enriching experiences, often in the natural setting of a city park, for all ages and seasons. Registering for Parks & Recreation activities is easy; please visit our website (www.goshenindiana.org/parks-rec) to create a user account to access the online reservation and registration platform. We always enjoy meeting park patrons personally, so feel free to visit us at the Park Department Office, 410 West Plymouth Avenue, to register in person.
We received an abundance of engagement from Goshen residents to help us shape goals for the coming years during the five-year master-planning process. The plan covers 2024–28. The four pillars developed through the planning are Equity, Health and Wellness, Engagement, and Conservation. To learn more about these goals and other developments, please check the City website.
The Park Department takes immense pride in providing and managing outdoor spaces to gather, meet, walk, and play. It is our privilege to continue serving the Goshen community, and we hope visitors to the Maple City see how these resources can enrich their lives too. On behalf of the entire staff and board, I hope you enjoy this “guided tour” of Goshen’s parks and the many opportunities for recreation and revitalization, regardless of the season.

Dedication Program
Donations and dedications of trees, plants, flowers, and park benches and picnic tables are all welcomed for the Goshen parks. Please contact the Goshen Park Department, for more information and current prices, at 534-2901.
Adopt-A-Park
Individuals, families, clubs and businesses are encouraged to Adopt-A-Park and help with maintenance, litter pickup and plant preservation. For more information, contact the Goshen Park Department at 534-2901.
Vandalism
Vandalism in our parks can be a concern, as well as have a negative impact on our budget. It isn’t possible for us to be in the parks at all times, so a few extra “eyes” to notify us about vandalism is very helpful. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
