Neighborhood Highlights

• Boundaries are from 9th Street to the east, College Avenue to the south, Main Street to the west, and Plymouth Avenue to the north.
• Home to one of Goshen’s oldest and most well-known restaurants, South Side Soda Shop. The owners, Nick and Charity Boyd, have been big supporters of the neighborhood association, which holds its regular meetings at the diner (and has been known to offer free desserts to board members after their meetings!).
• Parkside Elementary School is located in the middle of the neighborhood, providing a fun year-round playground for neighborhood children and families.
• Supposedly, this historic neighborhood was once known as a Goshen suburb rather than as part of the city.

Neighborhood Association Meetings

The Parkside Neighborhood Association meets regularly at Southside Soda Shop and holds an annual meeting in July, which is announced to the neighborhood.
